Low-key comedy about an overworked New York writer and mom (Rashida Jones) who suspects that her husband (Marlon Wayans), a successful executive who often travels for business, is having an affair with a co-worker (Jessica Henwick). So she enlists the help of her father (Bill Murray), a globetrotting bon vivant, and together the two embark on an investigation that eventually degenerates into a series of misadventures. Writer-director Sofia Coppola’s film sometimes feels as though meager material is being stretched out to fit feature length. But its affirmation that committed marriage is ultimately more rewarding than the apparently glamorous but emotionally empty lifestyle of Murray’s promiscuous character will be welcomed by viewers of faith. At least one use of profanity, a few milder oaths, a handful of rough and crude terms, discussions of sexuality. The Catholic News Service classification is A-III — adults.
