Part-Time Position: 20 hours per week
CLUSTER PARISH YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY LEADER is responsible for coordinating the parish Youth Ministry program and outreach to young adults within the parishes. The Leader supports and maintains a safe and moral environment for minors. Ensures that all adult volunteers are in compliance with Safe Environment policies and procedures.
Attends and participates in parish and staff meetings as required.

Experience / Education: Some related experience in youth ministry/religious education and training is required; Pathways certification.
Supervision: May be required to supervise volunteers.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related fi eld of study with six years of experience required. Two years of supervisory experience is required. St. Bridget Catholic Church is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours per week) Coordinator of Religious Education. The Children’s Religious Education Coordinator will be responsible for the parish catechetical program for grades Pre-K-5, sacramental preparation for first penance and first holy Communion, coordinating children’s Liturgy of the Word, working with staff in providing a safe environment for all through VIRTUS and providing leadership to assist the Director of Religious Education and community in building a solid foundation of catechetical ministry. The Children’s Religious Education Coordinator reports to the Director of Religious Education. This position requires evening and weekend hours. The Children’s Religious Education Coordinator will be available for regular and consistent office hours during part of the normal work week. Attendance at local, regional and diocesan meetings related to the position will necessitate some time away from the parish. The work schedule is established through dialogue with the Director of Religious Education and can be adjusted to avoid excessive hours. A combination of a bachelor’s degree in religious studies or a related fi eld, education or philosophy and professional experience is preferred.
