Our Lady of Lourdes, Richmond, hosted a Hispanic Festival Saturday Sept. 16, honoring Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Spanish Mass, offered at the parish since 2013. On hand to enjoy the festivities were Father Jonathan Goertz, Father Santos Ramirez and Deacon Stephen Cottam, along with parishioners from all backgrounds. Highlights included traditional food and dancing. Among the donations from parishioners were several chickens and a goat, which were auctioned. According to Deacon Jim Van Wyk, funds raised from the festival totaled $26,000.
