Filmmaker David Naglieri uses archival footage and dramatizations to chronicle the famed nun’s work among the poorest of the poor in India and beyond. But equal attention is paid to the current activities of the Missionaries of Charity, the religious order she established in 1950. Dedicated to the faithful following of their founder’s demanding spirituality, its members offer care to the forgotten and the outcast.
