On the morning of April 8, Bishop Barry C. Knestout led employees at the Pastoral Center, Richmond, in praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary. In coordination with the diocesan Office of Safe Environment, the rosary was intended for the protection of children and families as one of several ways the Pastoral Center observed Child Abuse Prevention Month. The rosary was livestreamed to encourage those at home to join Bishop Knestout in praying for the safety of all children.
