Most Reverend Barry C. Knestout, bishop of Richmond, has announced the following clergy assignments, effective July 1, 2025.

 

Vicar

Father Brian Capuano, from pastor of Pro-Cathedral of St. Peter, Richmond; St. John, Highland Springs; and St. Patrick, Richmond; and chancellor and judicial vicar of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, to chancellor and judicial vicar of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.

Father Michael Cunningham, FSSP (Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter), from Mater Dei Parish, Irving, Texas, to pastor of St. Joseph, Richmond, replacing Father Karl Marsolle, FSSP.
