Fr. Brady elected chairman of priest personnel committee

The diocese’s Priest Personnel Committee has elected Father Daniel Brady, pastor of St. Michael parish, Glen Allen, as its chairman.

“I am confident that he, guided by the Holy Spirit, will do a great job leading this committee,” said Msgr. Mark Richard Lane, Vicar for Clergy.

Father Brady, who has served on the committee for years, is also the chairman of the Priest Retirement Committee.

He will succeed Msgr. J. Kenneth Rush, pastor of Holy Cross, Lynchburg, and Vicar for the diocese’s Western Vicariate, as chairman. Msgr. Rush will remain a member of the committee.
