Office Director

The Diocese of Richmond seeks an Office Director to oversee the new diocesan Church Leadership Institute. The Director will provide the leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate a Church leadership formation program for the diocese that will produce both volunteer and career/professional ecclesial ministers. The Director will collaborate with chancery offices to develop policies and formation programs to prepare potential ministers for a variety of roles. Minimum requirements include a Masters degree in theology, pastoral studies, religious education or related field, three years experience in a parish or diocesan ministerial leadership position, solid team building abilities, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a working knowledge of adult training processes/principles and leadership development. The selected candidate will be well versed in Church documents, particularly regarding the role of lay ecclesial ministers, and be a Catholic in good standing. Some travel is required. Director for Office of Facilities Management

The Diocese of Richmond seeks a Director for the Office of Facilities Management. The Director supports employees of the Central Administrative Offices relating to office administration, maintenance and capital projects, purchasing, and the health, safety and security of employees in the workplace. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field or equivalent work experience, plus three or more years experience overseeing a facilities management department. Knowledge and skill requirements include a working knowledge of contract negotiations, maintenance and capital project budgets, workplace safety and security, purchasing administration, strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, management and analytical skills, and leadership skills. The selected candidate must be willing to pursue official designation as a Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from the International Facilities Management Association. Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister

St. Matthew Church in Virginia Beach is seeking a DRE and Youth Minister. Director of Religious Education applicants should have previous studies in catechetics or theology or the liturgy as well as experience in teaching religion or handing on the faith, especially to young people. Some college studies and experience in working with the youth are desired in the applicant for Youth Minister. Upper School Principal
